Or you could entertain 'em 24-7 by pretending in the way they perceived as 'favourable' or in whatever manner which appeals to them. You may enjoy temporary acceptance in the first place, but would eventually break down, revealing yer original true self once in a while and which some would, and could take it seriously and be offended... lol (humans, go figure). Although ye have no negative intention/mood at all internally, but it is just how ye originally expresses physically, and as innocently as it can be.
It could be a tiring job sometimes when yer tired of 'pretending' to look appealing while worrying these whole series of misunderstandings by yer everly-so-wonderful peers. Plus, the more ye try making up to them (thinkin tat would cease some mis-communications), the more 'funny' the outcome may be.
Unless yer already in the above process, just be confident and be yourself =)
